/A quick but valuable visit to The Materials Show at the SoWa Power Station in Boston today!
What stood out most wasn’t just the busy booths and familiar faces; it was the conversations. In a short time, I heard recurring themes around sustainability and innovation, AI, speed-to-market, tariffs and the uncertainty facing our industry, along with how material suppliers and brands are approaching these challenges and opportunities in creative ways.
It’s always a reminder that materials aren’t merely “inputs” in a design. They are vital to shaping the future of footwear and the direction of our industry.
